Chief Pilot/Hawker in Las Vegas

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage all aircraft operations in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with the company schedule and in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations

·         Maintain required pilot and medical certificates. Pass annual flight training proficiency checks as necessary for performance of assigned duties

·         Determine appropriate courses of action to ensure safety of passengers and company property

·         Study weather information in advance of flights to determine advisability of the flight

·         Initiate any changes necessary for the start, delay, or cancellation of assigned flights, and for the deviation of a flight from its planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate

·         Record aircraft flight reports personal flight logs at the highest standard

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience

·         Seven to 10 years of aviation related experience, with a minimum of two years in an on-demand flight environment

·         Previous corporate flight experience highly preferred

·         International Flight Operations experience preferred

·         Must be current type rated in Hawker 800XP

·         6,000 hours total flight time with appropriate jet experience

·         Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, air traffic control procedures and aircraft systems

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

·        Must be able to pass pre-employment compliance check to include drug testing and criminal and credit background checks.

·         Must live or be willing to relocate to Las Vegas NV. Not seeking contract type of situation. Ability to travel internationally, including valid passport

·         Must maintain a first class medical certificate

·         Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, air traffic control procedures and aircraft systems
